Reece spoke about that impact and the show鈥�s legacy in an interview celebrating the 50th anniversary. Since 2009, Reece has worked for the Smithsonian Institute and was appointed Curator of Music and Performing Arts at the Smithsonian Institution鈥檚 National Museum of African American History and Culture in 2020.听听
