Non-profit NewFilmmakers Los Angeles鈥� (NFMLA) selected 13 film makers to showcase for its InFocus: Asian Cinema鈥�program and鈥�InFocus: Immigration鈥�program including short film 鈥淯nwavering鈥� directed by Alexandra Hsu 鈥�11. The film, inspired by real events, follows Carolyn Kim, a college student who joins the movement to include ethnic studies in higher education during the late 1960s.听听听
