This聽special interdisciplinary Humanities聽event consists of聽David Lloyd聽explaining his path as a聽distinguished post-modern Irish聽cultural studies academic who continues聽to write poetry, while functioning as a scholar, teacher, and activist.聽 He will then recite聽some聽of聽his current poetry as well as poems from “Change聽of聽State”聽and then the聽song cycle “Change聽of聽State” will be performed.聽 The performance will be followed by a question and answer session for him and the composer, Hao Huang.
