A talk and reading by the author聽Tishani Doshi was born in Madras, India, to a Welsh mother and a Gujarati father. She currently lives on a beach between two fishing villages in Tamil Nadu with her husband and three dogs. 聽She has published six books of poetry and fiction. Her essays, poems and short stories have been widely anthologized. In 2012 she represented India at a historic gathering of world poets for Poetry Parnassus at the Southbank Centre, London.聽She’ll talk about her life as a hybrid and about wandering, and will read from her new collection of poems, essays and stories, The Adulterous Citizen.
